Living Solutions is a social enterprise that was set up to tackle social and environmental problems through working with people to make environmental improvements within their local communities and providing training and volunteering opportunities.
To support the development of a sustainable business model Living Solutions provides a range of services in gardening and woodland maintenance, both focused on improving the environment for people and wildlife. We deliver these services by providing fully trained staff and a team of enthusiastic volunteers at a competitive price.

Gardening Services
Within our gardening services we provide general maintenance services such as grass and hedge cutting, litter picking and weed clearance and spraying. The team also:
- Installs, plants and maintains floral display barrel planters
- Creates woven willow fences and structures
- Plants new trees, shrubs and flowers to improve biodiversity
- Creates wildflower meadows
Woodlands Services
The woodlands team works mainly in Forestry commission land carrying out environmental improvements such as selective felling of non-native trees to benefit native species and wildlife. Les Keyte, a highly qualified woodsman, leads the team and all volunteers receive specialist chainsaw training.
- Carries out small scale coppicing
- Repairs woodland pathways
- Makes and installs rustic benches & information board housing
- Removes damaged and dangerous trees
